Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were great, spacious, and lovely, with a huge bed and bathroom. However, the lack of air conditioning made it swelteringly hot, and the noise from an industrial extractor fan outside was disturbing. The climb of three flights of stairs with no lift was tiring, and the price was on the higher side, especially the pricey breakfast for basic options like toast and yogurt.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room was a letdown due to the unsuitability with no bathroom door and a small bed with an unsupportive mattress. It was also swelteringly hot, noisy due to the industrial extractor fan, and required a climb of 3 flights of stairs. However, the stylish decor and imposing king-size bed saved the day. The service was a mixed bag with some staff being very friendly and attentive, while other times we felt a bit neglected. The location, perfect for exploring Bury and surroundings, made up for some of the inconveniences. The dining experience had its moments, with a nice presentation but not very appetizing options. Overall, the stay was overpriced for what was offered, especially the £30 breakfast for two people.
I had a nice stay at the hotel. The rooms were lovely and clean, equipped with delicious shortbread and complimentary water, although the ambiance could be cozier. The service was very friendly and helpful. The location was great, just a 5-minute walk to town with all amenities nearby. The dining experience was delicious but slightly expensive.
